Henk
A neighbour advised us to ask Henk to sharpen our drill bits and so we did. Henk turned out to have a very extended workshop inside his house were he could make anything you can imagine. Mini steam locomotives, clocks and all kinds of other ironware. He gave us an educational tour and showed the special machines he had been collecting and assembling in the last fifty years.

Apart from our own team of professionals and hobbyists, we had some help of nearby residents of all ages. Some helped with cleaning and constructing, others served us tea, cofee, beer and soup or gave us water and electricity. A very pleasant square to be settled.

Wittevrouwen
Last Friday a yellow container arrived in Wittevrouwen (Utrecht), the second neighbourhood of the ‘Straatlokaal’ project. We delivered many flyers around the little square and only two days later, the container was already stuffed with lots of useful material. Great surprise!

Today we disassembled the building in Leidsche Rijn to make it transportable. The complete package will be picked up tomorrow to be stored until the beginning of May, when we will bring it to the city centre.
